Very interesting and very logical. A little bit of lateral thinking or if anybody has ever owned a kitten and realised that all the playful attacks and wrestling that kittens do is in fact rehearsal for adult life and hunting, it’s not hard to understand that play is education !

Comments about a baby boomer trying to read the manual first is well; me !…. But as a baby boomer I have competition for my time so game playing is quite a luxury !!!

    I know, isn’t he awesome!?
I have a great book of his, What video games have to teach us about learning and literacy. I especially like his arguments about how education needs to take up some of the strategies used by game developers that encourage mastery learning in users/students. He also criticises learning environments that don’t offer help-on-demand (which games do)…which is one reason why I love blogs and other online learning tools!
